He was predeceased by: his wife Margaret Elizabeth Lawson Keeton; his parents, Cornelius Benjamin Keeton and Dona Adaline Davis Keeton; his stepmother Maud Dodd Keeton; and his siblings, Howard Keeton, Alvin Keeton, Loyd Keeton, Evin Keeton, Ola Walker, Lora Gilbert, Euell Keeton, Arlin Keeton, Ozell Sloman and Pat Kanaday.
He is survived by: his children, Sharon Bagwell (Joey), Larry Keeton (Sharon) and Wade Keeton (Anna); his siblings, Owen Keeton (Marie), Avaanell Sorsby, Lena Keeton and Doris Weaver (Gary); his sister-in-law Dot Cooner; his grandchildren, Brandi Pate (Jason), Lauren Astin (Caleb), Kim Elmore, Lane Keeton, Sharla Keeton and Savannah Keeton; and his great grandchildren, Molly Pate, Madi Reece Pate and Aaron Elmore.
