She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Gilbert and Emma Gilbert; her husband Cephus Keeton; her sons, Gary Keeton and Danny Keeton; her son-in-law Edwin Hopkins; her daughter Terri Keeton Davis; and her siblings, Bud Gilbert, Dillard Gilbert, O'Dell Gilbert, Charles Gilbert, Cecil Gilbert, Little Joe Gilbert, Illa Hicks, Virge McKeever, Opal Best, Dot Gilbert and Geneva Harris.
She is survived by: her daughters, Linda Hopkins of Nauvoo and Gayle Keeton of Nauvoo; and her brother Calvin Gilbert. She is also survived by 10 Grandchildren; 16 Great Grandchildren; 3 Great-Great Grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Collins-Burke Funeral Home (303 Oak Hill Rd, Jasper, AL 35504). A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Collins-Burke Chapel (303 Oak Hill Rd, Jasper, AL 35504).
