It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jonathan Derrelle Smoot of Nauvoo, Alabama, who passed away on February 22, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Sherri Elaine Smoot; and his grandmother Jessie Newcomer. He is survived by: his children, Heather Elaine Bennett, Zackary Jordan Smoot (Ruthie Elizabeth), Camdyn Smoot and Trevor McReath; his siblings, Wanda Reynolds, Sarah Miller, Betty Myrick, Samantha Baker, Raymona Stacey, Mary Eskins and Greg Smith; and his grandchildren, Jonathan Michael Bennett, Natalyne Alora Crisman and Kevin James Bennett.
