He was predeceased by: his wife Sandra Gail Haley; his parents, Fletcher Marvin Haley and Gertrude Smith; his daughter Kathy Hammons Vanzant; his brothers, Troy Marvin Haley, George Richard Pierce and Junior Pierce; and his nephews, Randy Neal Rose and Tim Cain.
He is survived by: his daughters, Shelia Hammons Glass (Eddie) and Linda Hammons Smith (Will); and his siblings, Mary Helen Mote (Tony) and Jim Pierce. He is also survived by 7 Grandchildren; 2 Great Grandchildren.
