He is survived by: his wife Helen Marie Allison Prestridge; his daughter Amy R. Prestridge Long (Andrew); his daughter-in-law Jessica Wade Prestridge Pate (Jeremy); his grandchildren, Joseph Andrew "Drew" Long, II, Ashten Reid Long, Mason Wade Prestridge, Clara Marie Prestridge and Charlee Mae Prestridge; and his sister Betty Jo Prestridge Holly (Forest). He is also survived by his family and friends.
