It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ed Wayne Briggs of Nauvoo, Alabama, who passed away on March 25, 2024, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his son Ed Wayne Briggs, Jr.; his parents, Ed Prince Briggs and Leola; his sister Briggs Gurganus; and his grandparents, Paul, Grace McLemore, John CarLile and Lucy Foote Briggs.
He is survived by: his wife Joeva Nagle Briggs; his daughters, Leigh Anne Morgan (Aaron) and Chasen Grace Heberling (Justin); his grandchildren, McKinley Chase Morgan, Michael Briggs Morgan, Kyler Lee Heberling, Anna Chase Heberling and Edwyn Emerson Heberling; and his siblings, Randy Briggs and Louanne Gurganus. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
