It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Stephen Ray Peterson of Napier Field, Alabama, who passed away on June 24, 2023, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfrus Ray "Pete" Peterson and Kaotrice Williams Peterson; and his sisters, Phyllis Sue Peterson and Barbara Blackmon. He is survived by: his wife Rhonda Ogburn Peterson; his children, Nakina Hobbs (Randall) and Kraig Peterson (Virginya Hathaway); his brother-in-law Billy Blackmon; his grandchildren, Baylee Wingate, Parker Wingate, Devin Peterson, Hanley Peterson, Kason Peterson, Luna Peterson, Madison Hobbs, Emily Hobbs, Peyton Hodge, Layla Scobie and Alex Casey; his great grandchild Ethan Stewart; his nephew David Blackmon; and his great-nephew Luke Blackmon.
