He was predeceased by: his parents, William Mauldin and Evelyn Marie Mauldin; his brother Phillip C. Mauldin; his brothers-in-law, Jerry Quinn and Eugene Arnold; his stepson Mitchell Askew; and his granddaughter Haley Mauldin.
He is survived by: the mother of his child Betty Mauldin; his son Bryant Mauldin; his stepdaughters, Wendy King and Kim Askew; his grandsons, Aaron Mauldin and Raymond Askew; his siblings, Mike Mauldin (Cindy), Pat Quinn and Jayne Arnold; and his nieces and nephews, Dawn Quinn, Heather Quinn, Britton Mauldin, Brandon Mauldin, Jeff Arnold, Craig Mauldin (Cindy) and Gene Arnold.
