He was predeceased by: his parents, Alonzo Steele and Flossie Mae Wooten; his siblings, Sherman, Jack, Joe, Lloyd, Theresa, Freda and Sis; and his granddaughter Tiffany Mitchell.
He is survived by: his children, Daryle Steele, Lisa Murr, Julie Rose, Jonathan Steele and Victoria Steele; and his grandchildren, Jacob Steele, Kirsty Hensley, Kathrine Crosslin, Braxton Rose, Brodie Rose, Kaylee Grace Steele, Jadyn Love and Trey Love. He is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Colbert Memorial Chapel (700 US-43, Tuscumbia, AL 35674).
