He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Fuqua and Rosa Lee Fuqua Thompson; his son David Fuqua; and his sister Gloria Bell Fuqua. He is survived by: his wife Martha Southward Fuqua of Leighton; his children, Robert Wayne Fuqua of Sheffield, Alabama., Doris Elaine Johnson of Birmingham, Robin Shelaine Fuqua of Muscle Shoals, Bonnie Jean Fuqua of Sheffield, Pippa Summerhill (Jeffrey) of Harvest and Brenda Gail King of Sheffield; his granddaughter Aerial Lewis (Tarus) of Muscle Shoals; his siblings, Leo Fuqua of Muscle Shoals, Bennie Mastin (Gladys) of Leighton, Sammy Trotter of Pasco, Mary Bean of Muscle Shoals, Fannie Sledge (Andy) of Leighton, Flora Fuqua of Leighton, Sarah Tollfree of Stockton and Ida King of Leighton; and his sister-in-law Mary Brock (Floyd) of Tishomingo. He is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nephews, nieces, relatives, and friends.
