With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Paul Ray Tate of Muscle Shoals, Alabama, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 12, 2024 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ransom Tate and Willie Mae Greer; his stepfather George Greer; his wife Charlene Tate; and his sister Ruby Hand.
He is survived by: his children, Donny Mahatha (Kim), Georgetta Tate, Tonya Brewer (CW) and Tracy Tate; his grandchildren, Aaron Mahatha, Kristie Prescott (Sheldon), Katie Mahatha, Jessie Tate, Dominic Tate, Haven Tate and Logan Brewer; and his great grandchildren, Hudson and Greyson Prescott.
