He was predeceased by: his brother Douglas Alan Emerson; and his grandparents, Will, Ruby Emerson, Hugh L. and Margie Boyett.
He is survived by: his parents, Willard Preston Emerson and Marylon Boyett Emerson; his daughter Melanie Heineman (Rob); his grandchildren, Anna, Rebecca, Paul and Hayden Heineman; and his brother Greg Emerson (Terri). He is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
