He is survived by: his siblings, JoAnn Woods, Argus Young of Florence, Alabama and Ray Johnson (Beverly) of Sheffield, Alabama; his close friend Avis Gadd; his children, Roderick Gadd (Myra) and Sabrina Gadd; his grandchildren, Chandler Bolton (Jamie), De'Mia Newsome (Tyrik), Tamaya Newsome, Caiden, De'Earah of Channing and DeMazii; and his siblings-in-law, Wayne Gadd, Darryle Gadd of Sheffield, AL, Charlotte Sterling and Monique Drew (Larry).
Viewing was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Trinity Memorial Funeral Home (3935 E 2nd St, Muscle Shoals, AL 35661). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the First Missionary Baptist Church (1103 Sterling Blvd, Sheffield, AL 35660). A burial was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 at the Oakwood Cemetery- Sheffield Hatch.
