She is survived by: her husband Charles Thirlkill; her siblings, Pearline Davidson, Robert Davidson, Harold Davidson, Leon Davidson and Rev. Larry Davidson; her sons, Edward O. Brien Thirlkill and Gerald Thirlkill; her brother Green Davidson III (Barbara) of Tuscumbia, AL; her children, Melvin Thirlkill of Sheffield, AL, Clevon Thirlkill (Laura) of Florence, AL, Eric Thirlkill of Sheffield, AL and Angela Smith (Launceford) of Muscle Shoals, AL; her daughter-in-law Verna Thirlkill; her grandchildren, Deshawn, Javante, Shara, Kyle, Shamari, Tavaris, Mya, Tamya, Jalen, Eric Jr., Malia and Nahriyah; and her sister-in-law Barbara Davidson. She is also survived by five great grandchildren; there are a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family, and friends.
Viewing will be held on Friday, December 27th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Trinity Memorial Funeral Home (3935 E 2nd St, Muscle Shoals, AL 35661). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the First Missionary Baptist Church (611 S High St, Tuscumbia, AL 35674). A burial will be held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 at the Oakwood Cemetery- Sheffield Hatch.
