He is survived by: his mother Martha Haddock Bennett; his sister Melissa Bennett Gibbs (William "Bill"); and his nieces and nephews, Niki Odell, Jessica South (Steven), Jeremy Byrd and Christopher Blacklidge. He is also survived by seven great nieces and nephews.
