He was predeceased by: his parents, Bill Lenz and Lillian Isbell Lenz; and his siblings, Charles Lenz, Billy Lenz, Virgil Lenz and Betty McGregor.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Byars Lenz; his children, Melanie Spencer (David), Jason Lenz (Jan) and Amy Hester (Jeff); his siblings, L. C. Lenz, Hettie McGough, Charlotte Brewer and Reba Darby; his grandchildren, Christy Graham (Jacob), Bethany Spencer, Grace Spencer, Hope Uhlman, Alex Lenz (Fleur), Olivia Hatcher (Daniel) and Emily Uhlman; and his great grandchildren, Neelie Graham, Lillian Graham, Caroline Graham and Spencer Graham. He is also survived by nephews and nieces.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Morrison Funeral Home - Tuscumbia (825 N Main St, Tuscumbia, AL 35674). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
