He was predeceased by: his son Daryl Thorp; his parents, Gwinnie Bullion and Thomas Thorp; and his siblings, Minnie Taylor, Maud Byers, Mae Dutton, Anna "Tommie" Keithley, Florence Pace, Mack Thorp and Wallace Thorp.
He is survived by: his children, Charles Thorp, Jr. (Debbie), Marie Steele, Wade Thorp (Rena) and Ali Thorp; his grandchildren, Trey Thorp (Jen), Krissy Wann (Todd), Julie Rose (Daniel), Jon Steele, Vicki Steele, Hunter Thorp (Haley), Zac Thorp and Karley Villarreal (Marco); and his great grandchildren, Charlie Thorp, Olivia Thorp, Kyndall Wann, Christian Wann, Braxton Rose, Brodie Rose, Kaylee Steele, Trey Love, Jadyn Love, Mason Thorp, Jayden Villarreal and Gabby Villarreal.
