He is survived by: his wife Debra Vess; his children, Gary Vess, Shane Vess, Ashlee Linglebach and Becky Balentine; and his siblings, Lee Ray Vess and Dorothy "Dot" Wigginton. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; and 6 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Morrison Funeral Home - Tuscumbia (825 N Main St, Tuscumbia, AL 35674). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
