He was predeceased by: his wife Donna Buckner; his sons, Derek Watts and Doyle Watts; and his parents, Floyd Watts and Mary Watts.

A funeral service was held on Friday, December 27th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, December 27th 2024 at 10:45 AM at the Hill Crest Cemetery.
