He was predeceased by: his parents, Garfield Austin and Inez Austin; his brother Dennis Austin; and his grandson Jacob Poore. He is survived by: his wife Mary Austin; his children, Keith Austin, Keitha Smyton and Beth Bittle; and his sisters, Brenda Hutto and Shirley Brimer. He is also survived by 9 grandkids; 10 great grandkids.
A celebration of life was held on Sunday, February 2nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Bethlehem Baptist Church (142 Bethlehem Church Rd, Oxford, AL 36203).
