He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvie Strickland and Nellie Strickland; and his siblings, Alvie Elbert Strickland Jr., Billy Marcel Strickland, Bobby Ray Strickland, Harold Glenn Strickland, Tommy Mark Strickland, Charles David Strickland, Elizabeth Ann Hughes, Della Ruth Daugherty and Arlis Faye Strickland.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Ann Strickland; his children, Susan Renae Clark (John) and Anthony Paul Strickland (Sandra); his siblings, Joy Horne, Gail Hill (Mike) and Don Strickland; and his grandchildren, Zachary Paul Strickland, Noah Anthony Strickland, Abbey Clark, John Clark Jr., Jason Clark, Emmanuel Strickland, Seth Strickland and Tabitha Strickland. He is also survived by Several nieces and nephews.
