She was predeceased by: her husband Gary Rooks; her son Keith Rooks (Tammy); her parents, Dan Johnson and Ruby Johnson; and her brother Morris Johnson.
She is survived by: her sons, Daniel Lee Rooks, Kevin Douglas Rooks (Jennifer) and Joseph Kyle Rooks (Kim); her grandchildren, Casey Lindley (Stephanie), Amber Rooks, Colby Craighead, Lauren Collins (Jeffery), Bailey Rooks, Trey Higgins, Madison Angle, Kayla Rooks, Kane Rooks (Jade), Kendall Rooks (Paige), Kylie Rooks, Morgan Jones, Chandler Jones (Tuesdi), Jacob Rooks (Peyton), Cortney Medley (Johnna) and Kaitlin Hammonds; and her sister Julia Ann Johnson. She is also survived by great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family members, and her fur babies.
