He is survived by: his wife Sandra Adams Swafford; his children, Roxanne Swafford and Zachary Swafford; his siblings, Joy Kelley (Terry), Diane Swafford and Roy Swafford (April); his grandson Jacob Swafford; his parents-in-law, Roy, Wilma Adams, Marsha Smith (James) and Rhonda Chappell (Greg); and his brother-in-law Tim Adams (Krista). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers family wishes for donations be made to Camp Smile A Mile or your favorite charity of your choice in his honor.
