He was predeceased by: his parents, Otis Tims and Nona Tims; his wife Charlsie Tims; his daughter Tami Lynn Dison; his great grandchild Blake Pritchard; and his siblings, Dot Gurley and Clellon Tims.
He is survived by: his sons, Michael Tims of Oxford and Lane Tims (Tina) of Anniston; his grandchildren, Tia Tims, Gunnar Tims (Tori), Cassie Gaskins (Tim), Breanna McWilliams (Chase), Alyssa Carpenter (Jared) and Lauren Dison; his great grandchildren, Joshua Pritchard, Ambria Hernandez, Rilynn Tims, Logan Pruitt, Landon McWilliams, McKenzie McWilliams, Caleb Gaskins, Hunner Tims and Axton Carpenter; his siblings, Marie Gunter and Roger Tims; and also Brody Pritchard. He is also survived by his children, grandchildren, great great-grandson.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Betta View Hills Church of Christ (2140 US-78, Oxford, AL 36203). A funeral service was held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
