She was predeceased by: her husband Martin Lawrence Smith; her parents, Cecil Nelson and Allie Mae Nelson; and her son Rodney S. Smith. She is survived by: her daughter Bonnie Oglesby (Travis); her brother J. C. Nelson (Jackie); and her daughter-in-law Jeanette Smith. She is also survived by six grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; 10 great-great-grandchildren.
