He was predeceased by: his wife Betty Brown Lackey; his parents, Paul Lackey and Rosa Lee Lackey; and his brothers, Ray and Thomas Lackey.
He is survived by: his children, Darlene "Sissy" Johnson, Trish Gaither (Ralph), Rodney "Bubba" Lackey (Tammy) and Wyatt Harmon (Greta); his grandchildren, Cody Johnson (Gwen), Lacey Casey (Michael), Kenny, Cindy Gaither, Summer Lloyd (Jacob), Autumn Munn and Scott Haynes; and his siblings, Lendsey Mayo, Frances Mayo, Ruby Green, Burl and Bill Lackey. He is also survived by ten great-grandchildren.
