She was predeceased by: her parents, Dan Pierce and Mary Hester Ritter Pierce; her siblings, Melvin Tince Pierce, Earl Pierce, Rachel Hoket, Grady Pierce, Arnold Pierce, Dan Pierce, Audry Pierce, Roy Pierce and Ruth Pierce; her former husband Hubert J. Whittle; and her granddaughter Cathy Renee Miller.
She is survived by: her children, Deryl Whittle (Nancy) and Arnith Felicia Miller (Alan); her granddaughter Christy Michelle Miller; her great grandchild Noah Scott Graham; her nieces, Ann Davis, June Woods, Sandy Sherer, Jan Perkins, Sue Tidwell, Helen Moreland, Kay McBride, Joan Stafford and Pam Mays; and her nephew Danny Chandler.
