With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lewis Vastine Stabler of Mountain Brook, Alabama, who passed away on January 4, 2023 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his spouse Monteray Scott Stabler (Monty); his parents, Lewis Vastine Stabler and Dorothy Emerson Stabler; and his sister Mary Campbell Stabler Boyd. He is survived by: his children, Dorothy Stabler Scott, Andrew Vastine Stabler, Monteray Stabler Smith (Warren) and Langston Stabler Hereford (Will); his grandchildren, Elizabeth Emerson Guarnieri (Dan), Anna Scott Khanduja (Prakhar), Warren Delano Smith IV (Katie), Emerson Monteray Smith, Hunt Stabler Smith, William James Hereford and Carey Stabler Hereford; and his great grandchild Nora Elizabeth Smith.
