It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lee Styslinger Jr. of Mountain Brook, Alabama, born in Birmingham, Alabama, who passed away on October 24, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee Styslinger, Sr. and Margaret; and his brother Bill Styslinger. He is survived by: his sons, Lee Styslinger, III (Kelly), Jon Styslinger (Babbie) and Mark Styslinger (Jennifer); his wife Catherine Styslinger; his sister Margaret Yount; and his grandchildren, Paul, Scott, Leo, Temple, Sarah, Jon, Jr., Matthew, Mac, Claudia, Stella and Lydia. He is also survived by his children, grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, friends.

“I played Jupiter Island this morning for the first time since I left in March of 2020 and just learned of his passing. Chief was an amazing man! He taught me the value of a true friendship and how important it is to spend time with family and friends. He was an extremely generous man and helped me through some difficult times. I feel lucky to have been able to give him enjoyment with his golf game and loved hearing about his successes on the course. A great MAN for sure!! Paul Emmi”
