We are sad to announce that on January 2, 2025, at the age of 91, Jo Ann Whorton Royal of Mountain Brook, Alabama, born in Gadsden, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Jo Ann Whorton shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Jo Ann Whorton farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her husband Dave Royal. She is survived by: her daughter Karen Griffith (Mike); her grandchildren, Caitlyn Bellenger (Andrew) and Jackson Griffith; and her great grandchildren, Virginia Bellenger and Liza Bellenger.
