He is survived by: his wife Harriet Poe Christenberry; his children, James Warren Heacock, III (Jay) and Harriet Harrison Vogelsang (Matt); his grandchildren, Charlie, Hallie and Dewey Vogelsang; his siblings, Carol Sullivan (Carroll), Heidi Yates (Sam) and Gary Heacock (Kathy); and his siblings-in-law, Alton James, Fran Christenberry (Chip) and Cathy Warner (Tom). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
