It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elwyn Nabors Conaway of Mountain Brook, Alabama, who passed away on August 27, 2023, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Grady Conaway and Linnie Conaway; his brothers, Judson Conaway and Jim Conaway; and his grandson Martin Conaway.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Elizabeth Conaway; and his children, Tommy Conaway, Charlie Conaway, Kay Taygan, Robert Gunn, Kim Gunn and Beth Reep. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
