It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ann Barcroft Hicks of Mountain Brook, Alabama, who passed away on December 28, 2020, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Barcroft and Edith Barcroft; her brother Paul Barcroft Jr.; and her husband Dr. Julius N. "Buddy" Hicks. She is survived by: her children, Joan Bryant, Jim Hicks (Jill) and Barbara Lummis (Greg); her grandchildren, Charlie (Elle), Mitchell Bryant, Michael, Taylor, Katie Lummis and Sophie Hicks; and her great grandchild Clive Bryant.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Susan Norton Hicks Memorial Fund.
