He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Weaver and Ophelia Weaver; his daughter Kimberly Weaver; his former wife Jettie Weaver; his siblings, Minnie Weaver and Vermell Rivers; and his grandchildren, Chase Weaver, Eric Weaver and Lane Dean.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Weaver; his children, Villard Weaver (Tracie), Betty Weaver, Charles Weaver and Gloria Dueitt (Mace); his siblings, Ada Byrd (George), Ola Davis (Richard), Sheila Byrd, Melissa Johnston (Marvin), Carol Evans, Bruce Weaver and Clyde Weaver (Carolyn); and his close friends, Roger Weaver and Roland Byrd. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; thirty great-grandchildren; and ten great-great-grandchildren.
