She was predeceased by: her husband Verma Reed; her sons, Michael S. Byrd and Gerald Weaver; her grandson Patrick Handley; her parents, Clasby Rivers and Roberta Rivers; and her siblings, Wallace Rivers, Wilford Rivers, Jane Smith, Curvin Rivers and Lamar Rivers.
She is survived by: her children, Angie Middleton (Tim), Phyllis Nelson (Ray), Lemo Byrd, Jr. (Dana), Vance Reed (Deanna), Travis Byrd (Tara), Troy Reed (Shirl), Gregory Reed, Ingran Simmons, Christopher Reed (April) and Tiffany Beason (Jeremy); her siblings, Keith Rivers, Rita Taylor Maggie Rivers, Lenore Rivers and Mary Sue Sullivan; and her caregiver Eva "Bang" Byrd. She is also survived by her numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
