He is survived by: his wife Helen Byrd; his children, Renee Gulley Sullivan, Melissa Johnson (Pete), Pam Wainwright, Teresa Blunt (Victor), Dana Gulley and Tommy Gulley (Candice); and his brother Lem Byrd (Beatrice).
