She was predeceased by: her mother Artelia Henderson; her brother Herbert Henderson Jr.; her parents-in-law, Charlie Lee Reed Sr. and Irene Reed; and her sister-in-law Annie Adams.
She is survived by: her husband Charlie Reed Jr. of McIntosh, AL; her father Herbert Hoover Henderson Sr. of Mt. Vernon, AL; her daughters, Adrienne Sims (Justin) of Mobile, Alabama, Ambria Reed of Mobile, Alabama, Arlisha Reed of Mobile, Alabama and LaShanda Stewart of Atwood, Tennessee; her grandson Avery Hart; her great grandchild Averya Burnett of Milan, Tennessee; her siblings, Ruth Ann Lumpkins (Elias) of Grand Rapids, Barbara Barnes of Madison, Carolyn Hudson (James) of Satsuma, Sandra Tolbert (Rutland) of McIntosh, Alabama, Brian Henderson (Nana) of Mt. Vernon, Alabama and Stanley Henderson (Karen) of Mt. Vernon, Alabama; her siblings-in-law, Darlene Reed of McIntosh, Chesteen Barnes (Wesley) of McIntosh, Jacqueline Jones of McIntosh, Wendy Williams (Jansen) of McIntosh, Loretta McDonald of Helena, Alabama, Frankie Hall (Mary) of Boston, Mint Reed (Deborah) of McIntosh, Alabama and Charles Reed of McIntosh, Alabama; her godsons, Jeffery Sullivan of Mobile, Alabama, Jeffery Sullivan Jr. of McIntosh, Alabama and Terrence Adams Jr. of McIntosh, Alabama; her grandchildren, Kasyn Jru Walker of Mobile and Braylon Jordan of Madison, Alabama.; and also Kylen Rodgers of Mobile, Alabama. She is also survived by her spouse and children.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Small's Mortuary - Mt. Vernon (19170 US-43, Mt Vernon, AL 36560). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the New Beginning Apostolic Church (4260 US-43, McIntosh, AL 36553). A burial was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at the same location.
