She was predeceased by: her husband Alex Hopkins Sr.; her parents, Quillard Ragans and Bessie Mae Bales; and her siblings, Danny Ragans and Zona Hughes.
She is survived by: her children, Debra Weaver (Gary), Michael Massey (Shelby), Alex Hopkins Jr. (Sarah), Daniel Hopkins (Velma) and Anthony Byrd (Tammie); her granddaughter Hannah; her sisters, Maeola Taylor (Henry) and Myrtle Weaver (Kesler); and her close friend Kim Blankinchip.
Due to the spike in coronavirus cases in our community and surrounding areas we serve, we will be implementing a face mask policy effective immediately.
