He was predeceased by: his parents, Sophie Reed and Erbert Reed, Sr.; his siblings, Lydia Reed and Robby Allen Reed; his nephew Wilbur Reed, Jr.; his siblings, Marvin Lofton (Deborah), Wilbur Reed, Erbert Reed, Jr. (Eva), Deborah Reed, Starla Weaver (Alvin), Vanessa Weaver and Paula Byrd (Dennis); his aunts and uncles, Ola Sullivan (Carl), Maggie James, Cranny Lofton, Esther Byrd, Nettie Reed, Roberta Reed, Clifford Rivers and Joe H. Rivers; and his nieces and nephews, Farrah Reed, Annie Reed, Jonah Reed, Griffin Weaver, Kirkland Weaver, Hali Weaver and Breanna Reed.
