He was predeceased by: his parents, Dunford Cole and Evie "White" Cole; his daughter Peggy Cole; and his siblings, Vesta Weaver, Delia Weaver, Ester Cole, Charlie Cole and Roger Cole.
He is survived by: his children, Pamela Frazier (Ricky), Lynn Lofton (Perry), Joe Cole (Tammy), Brenda Byrd (Mack Jr.), Sherri Smith (Joe), Dunford Cole (Brandy) and Clara Cole (Leslie Trotter); and his siblings, Barbara Baugh (William), Voncille Byrd and Wayne Cole. He is also survived by 21 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren, 14 great- great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
