It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Abraham Weaver Jr. of Mount Vernon, Alabama, who passed away on February 18, 2021, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Abraham Weaver and Louise Weaver; his wife Sally Joann Weaver "Cuz"; and his brother Zack Weaver. He is survived by: his children, Joseph Abraham Weaver, Sr. (April), Jessica Weaver Reed (Brad), Shane Schaffer (Karla), Terry Ketchum, Mickey Lofton (Crystal), Nathan Huckabee, Ray Byrd (Grace), Mary Lofton, Ruddie Rivers and Josh Rivers; his grandchildren, Leah Lofton, Kalie Weaver, Jessalyn Weaver, Flora Beth Weaver, Joseph Weaver, Jr. and Ava Marie Reed; his siblings, Daffy Weaver, Sr., Oscar Hayes Weaver (Catherine), Lenore Rivers and William Hollis Sr. (Kathy); and his son Curvin Rivers, Jr..
Due to limited seating and COVID-19 guidelines, masks will be required to wear throughout the wake and funeral services and a safe social distance should be maintained.
