He was predeceased by: his wife Anna Sue Brooks Smith; his parents, Stewart Lancelot Smith and Leavy Edith Watts Smith; and his siblings, James Smith, Lloyd Smith and Ruby Thompson.
He is survived by: his daughters, Diana Williams (Terry) and Cathy Landers (Matt); and his grandchildren, Tim Dunn (Hope), Nicole Landers and Natalie Landers.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home (1591 Gadsden Hwy, Birmingham, AL 35235). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
