With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sherell Eugene Guthrie (Mount Olive, Alabama), born in Cullman, Alabama, who passed away on June 14, 2018 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Sam Guthrie and Ella Guthrie; and his siblings, Lewis Guthrie, Junior Guthrie, Douglas Guthrie, Agnus Guthrie McCormick, Tommy Miller and Hazel Yeager.

He is survived by: his wife Mary Frances Guthrie. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Mt. Vernon UMC Children's Fund or to a charity of your choice.
