John Mark Higdon Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Mark Higdon of Mount Olive, Alabama, who passed away on February 14, 2025, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to John Mark's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in his wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration John Mark has bequeathed us. For though he may have departed from our sight, his spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Higdon and Ludie Higdon. He is survived by: his wife Denise Guercio Higdon; his sisters, Brenda Stevens (Steve) and Donna McCrindle; his niece Nikki Stacey; and his nephews, Jayme Stapp, Jason Stapp and Josh Stapp.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the Ridout's Gardendale Chapel (2029 Decatur Hwy, Gardendale, AL 35071). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the same location.
