He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Rucker and Belle Rucker; and his wife Barbara Rucker. He is survived by: his children, Duane Rucker (Doreen), James Comer, Monika Hutchison (Wayne), Angelika Kirkpatrick (Tommy), Carole Smith and Krista Carroll (Brian); his brothers, Bob Rucker and Billy Rucker (Jerys); and his grandchildren, Wayne Hutchison (Heather), Jamie Hutchison, Russell Kirkpatrick (Sarah), Timmy Gable, Robert Rucker, Steven Comer, William Smith, Carla Smith, Tina Smith, Brayden Carroll and Jacob Carroll. He is also survived by 8 Great Grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to The Birmingham Humane Society in his honor.
