In the vast expanse of eternity, Gordon shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Gordon farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his wife Joan Stephens; and his parents, Lionel Stephens and Annie Stephens. He is survived by: his children, Grace and Josey; and his siblings, Reggie Stephens (Sharon), Pete Stephens (Laura) and Gay Arwood. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and other extended family.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Walker Chapel Funeral Home (1200 Ellard Rd, Fultondale, AL 35068). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
