It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Faye P. Cockrell of Mount Olive, Alabama, who passed away on September 9, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the sacred silence of farewell, Faye is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. She was predeceased by: her husband Douglas Cockrell; her daughter Donna Lynn Hosmer; and her brothers, Pat Patterson and Mack Patterson. She is survived by: her son Tommy Shackelford (Kathy); her grandson Brian Bowman (Melissa); her great grandchildren, Andon Bowman and Dillon Bowman; and her sisters, Kay Ellis and Barbara Glass.
