He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Taylor Shields; his son Steven Shields (Allison); his grandchildren, Waylon Stone, Kason Stone, Ethan Stone and Addisyn Shields; and his sister-in-law Sue N. Trapp. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and extended family.
