She was predeceased by: her parents, Willard Gaston and Delores Harbin Gaston; and her grandson Kagen Sutton. She is survived by: her husband Lynn Porter; her sons, Rodney Hill and Cassey Hill; her grandchildren, Jordan Hill, Brylin Sutton and Bailey Webster; and her brother Randy Gaston. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Old Town Creek Baptist Church Sunday School Department.
