He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Dutton and Marie Dutton; his son James Joel Dutton Jr.; and his brothers, Johnny Dutton, Bob Dutton and Boyd Dutton.
He is survived by: his wife JoAnn Dutton; his daughters, Michelle Frost (Keith) and Melanie Wilcoxson (Paul); his grandchildren, Kirk Sparks (Haley), Tiffany Hallmark (Trevor), Erika Little (Martin), Jaben Wilcoxson, Joah Wilcoxson, Joby Wilcoxson, Hunter Frost (Jessica) and Hannah Long (Kris); his great grandchildren, Ryder, Stetson, Tilton, Case, Ripken, Briggs, Harper, Haizlee, Luke and Caden; and his siblings, Mary Lee Cameron, Martha Michael, Faye Fortich (Bob), Jake Dutton (Connie) and Billy Dutton (Shelby). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
